Thanks to our supporters from İzmir, residents of Kourock village in Senegal, who just survived a 30-years civil war, will have access to clean drinking water in 2016. During the opening ceremony, which was attended by our members and supporters, villagers celebrated their access to clean drinking water and presented their gifts to us. What does clean drinking water mean to villagers of Kourock? It means healthier generations. It means more time of children for school and end of the long distances for woman to fetch water with huge bucks. It means more time of women to spend time with their children. It means opportunity to alleviate poverty. It means more hope and a brighter future.
